VICA: Connection with Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez March 8th at Noon

WHO:
Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez is a Democrat who has represented California’s 47th Congressional District — the communities including Anaheim, Santa Ana, Orange and Garden Grove in Orange County — since 1997. She holds senior positions on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Homeland Security Committee. She’s also the second highest ranking Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Homeland Security Committee. She’s considered one of the frontrunners in the November 2016 election for the U.S. Senate seat held by Sen. Barbara Boxer, who’s declining to seek re-election.

WHAT:
VICA organizes numerous events throughout the year to offer our members a chance to meet and speak with the elected officials and leaders who make decisions that will have a major impact on the Valley’s business community. VICA’s Newsmaker Connection is a program that brings together lawmakers, public officials and business leaders. VICA members have the opportunity to exchange ideas about how public policy impacts the economic vitality of our community and how to strengthen the San Fernando Valley’s business climate.
